Area 15 is a retail and entertainment venue under construction not far from the Las Vegas Strip. The aesthetic of the project is like Blade Runner crossed with Burning Man and Mad Max. It will be anchored by a 40,000 square-foot immersive art installation created by Meow Wolf.
Meow Wolf made a name for itself in Santa Fe with its House of Eternal Return, which was built with partial funding from Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.
Spaces in Area 15 will be leased to retailers, brands, VR experiences, escape rooms, artists, and local food operators.
Listen in as the research team visits the Area 15 construction site and then interviews Winston Fisher of Fisher Brothers, developer of Area 15, Michael Beneville of Beneville Studios, and Vince Kadlubek of Meow Wolf.
