Vista Equity Group Selects Jones Lang LaSalle to Represent Lacenterra at Cinco Ranch

Houston (May 6, 2008) – Houston-based Vista Equities Group has sxelected Jones Lang LaSalle Retail to represent its $150 million Main Street-styled mixed-used development, LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch.  Susan Longley, Vice President of Retail will lead the leasing effort for the Katy, Texas property. 

Jones Lang LaSalle Retail is the largest third-party regional shopping center management firm in the country with nine regional offices and 20 leasing offices.  Their portfolio is comprised of unique clients and a broad range of retail properties including regional shopping centers, transportation facilities, lifestyle centers, strip malls, power centers and universities, along with redevelopment and ground-up development projects.

LaCenterra is a joint venture of Houston-based Vista Equities Group and Denver-based Amstar Group.  The 34-acre development is located within the 7,400-acre master planned community of Cinco Ranch by Newland Communities.  LaCenterra is the area’s only retail-oriented lifestyle center offering national brands, select restaurants, upscale boutiques, class “A” office space and luxury living (Spring 2009).

Phase I of LaCenterra opened March 1, 2007, with 170,000 sq. ft. of retail space and 90,000 sq. ft. of Class “A” office space.  Construction is scheduled to begin on Phase II in June 2008.  Upon completion in the fall of 2009, Phase II will offer an additional 160,000 sq. ft. of retail space and 252 residential living units.

LaCenterra is located at the intersection of Cinco Ranch Boulevard and the Grand Parkway in Katy, Texas.
